Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and Pantazi Software(“Memo”, “we”, “us”), which operates the Memo digital event photo album service at me-mo.ro (the “Service”). By creating an album, uploading content, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Who can use Memo
You must be at least 16 years old to create an album. Guests uploading photos to an album do not need an account. Organizers are responsible for the lawful use of their album, including obtaining consent from guests who appear in or upload content.
2. The Service
Memo lets you (the “Organizer”) create an album with a unique QR code, share that code with guests, and collect photos and (on paid plans) videos uploaded by those guests. Organizers can review, moderate, download, and delete uploaded content from their dashboard.
The Service is provided on the plans listed on our pricing page. Each plan has its own photo limit, video allowance, upload window, storage period, and feature set.
3. Accounts & access
Organizers sign in with Google or a passwordless email magic link. You are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure. Moderators are invited by the Organizer and access an album through a time-limited, one-time-use link.
4. Your content
You and your guests retain all ownership of the photos and videos uploaded to your album. You grant Memo a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, transcode, generate thumbnails for, deliver, and back up that content solely for the purpose of operating the Service for you. We do not use your album content for advertising, for training machine-learning models, or for any purpose other than delivering the Service.
You represent that you have all necessary rights and consents to upload the content you submit, and that it does not infringe third parties’ rights, violate applicable law, or contain unlawful material.
5. Payments & refunds
Paid plans are a one-time payment per album. Prices are shown in USD on the pricing page. Payments are processed by Creem; Memo does not receive or store full card numbers. VAT or other taxes may be added at checkout depending on your location.
You may request a refund within 5 business days of payment, provided the event date has not yet started. Email Contact us with your album URL and we will refund the original payment method.
6. Free plan, retention & deletion
The Free plan is capped at 30 photos, no videos, with a 24-hour upload window and 7 days of storage. Paid plans extend these limits — see the pricing page for the exact numbers.
After an album’s storage period ends, the album is archived for a 14-day grace period during which you can still download a ZIP backup. After the grace period, photos, videos, and thumbnails are permanently deleted from our object storage. You can also delete an album, individual uploads, or your account on demand from the dashboard or by emailing us.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to upload, share, or solicit: unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, or sexually-explicit material; content involving minors in a sexual context; content that infringes copyright or other rights; malware; or content that violates privacy or data-protection laws. We may suspend or remove albums and content that breach this section, and report material to the authorities where required by law.
8. Reporting abuse & takedowns
If you believe content in an album breaches these Terms or your rights, email Contact us with the album URL, the specific photo(s) at issue, and a description of the violation. We review reports promptly and remove or restrict content where appropriate.
9. Service availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, change features, or temporarily suspend the Service. For paid albums affected by extended unplanned downtime that crosses the event date, contact us and we will work out a fair resolution (extension or refund).
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to other users, to us, or to third parties.
11. Disclaimer & limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including loss of photos resulting from your own deletions, expired storage windows, or failure to download a ZIP backup before the grace period ends. Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to a paid album is limited to the amount you paid for that album.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (including statutory consumer rights in the EU and Romania).
12. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by Romanian law. Disputes will be resolved by the courts competent for the seat of the operator, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence in the EU. EU consumers can also use the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change materially affects your rights, we will notify Organizers by email at least 14 days before it takes effect. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
